What is the CVN?

The CVN is an extra 3 or 4-digit number printed on your credit card. It is not stored by a merchant when making a purchase, so it provides extra security against credit card fraud. The CVN is easy to find, but the location depends on your card type so please consult relevant the information below.

Visa and MasterCards Turn the credit card over. Find the printed number - usually on the signature strip. The last 3 digits are your CVN as indicated in the illustration.	Amex Cards View the front of your Amex card Your CVN is the 4 digit number printed to the right of your regular card number. The location is indicated in the illustration below.
